Extension of existing platform. The works consisted of installing new foundation bases and concrete apron slabs. The works were successfully carried out during the Easter possession shutdown period of 60 hours consisting of two shift gangs of concrete finishers, steelfixers and shuttering carpenters. The works were completed within 56 hours and the platform was successfully handed to Network Rail ahead of time.
